I was so happy this morning to wake to a message to say another of my tunes 'Broken Parts' has made it's way to a major Ad agency. I'm so so wishing one will finally be used. I wish I wish I wish!!!! x
I'm very very pleased to say that Danny is back on form after his long awaited op and is feeling so much better. We had an excellent rehearsal last night, recording is now high on the agenda here in 'The Shed'. We did tester last night and from the rough's this morning it's sounding good!!!! Really looking forward to our next show as the Lexie Green & Danny Moore duo at Jools Hollands Jam House, Birmingham. Tuesday 27th December. WHOOP WHOOP!!!
Had a phone interview this morning with Peterborough Evening Telegraph of which a small piece will be included in Wednesday's edition. The interview was firstly to promote a Blues contest I've entered (New Brunswick Battle of The Blues) and secondly they were very interested in how I went from a Mum & housewife to becoming a songwriter and performer. I think they are going with the 'Bored Housewife' angle which is kind of intruiging... 'Bored Housewife' was the first tune I wrote 5 years ago. ** Click the 'About' tab for more info on my bio ***
Yesterday the photographer popped over and we did a super fast photo shoot around the yard... some in the studio, some by the trailer and a couple in the old barn. Was a fun shoot! Hopefully will see if I can link some of the pictures to facebook and twitter.
