Lexie began 3 years ago on the internet as a soloist singer/song writer. With no song writing or guitar experience she sat down December 2006 in her kitchen in the Cambridgeshire fens and wrote a song, it made her happy so she wrote another and then another and then another... well... you get the idea. Within 12 months she'd gained a world-wide internet following, international song writing awards, global internet radio airplay and finally performed her first live gig.
3 years on she's a regular on BBC Radio Cambridgeshire, has a rapidly increasing gig diary, a bunch of talented and experienced musicians backing her, two albums currently being recorded, performing at fantastic festivals and supporting some fabulous bands and artists. Just recently for the fantastic Blues Guitarist & Songstress Bex Marshall (BBC2 Paul Jones & Bob Harris live sessions).
Her voice has been likened to Norah Jones, Martha Wainwright and at times Bonnie Raitt. Her original songs are an ecletic collection from childhood influences of Pink Floyd, Peter Green, and Bruce Springsteen to name a few.
